A true native of Arizona, Dr. Blake Olson graduated from Chaparral High School, and then attended Arizona State University on full academic scholarship. He left Arizona to attend the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where he was awarded the USC Dentistry Associates Scholarship in addition to the prestigious National Health Service Corps Scholarship based on his commitment to public service. After completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Dr. Olson became the Dental Director of a public health center in Northern California.

In 2011, Dr. Olson returned home to Arizona and joined Carefree Dentists. He quickly gained notice in the community for his extremely compassionate, gentle approach to dentistry, and his dedication to patient education. A committed life-long learner, Dr. Olson is an active member of several local and national dental study clubs. In addition, he is an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern Dental School in Glendale teaching hands-on clinical skills one day per week. He prides himself on meticulous aesthetic designs and patient satisfaction.

A lover of all things outdoors; Dr. Olson can be found with his wife Shelley and son Leif exploring the Arizona trails by foot, bike, and boat. He is very active in the Carefree Kiwanis organization and other local philanthropic programs. He says his greatest joy in dentistry is getting to know all of his patients personally and problem solving on an individual basis.

Growing up in southeastern Indiana, Dr. Shannon Bischoff graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree. During her time at Purdue, some of her extracurricular activities included participating in pre-dental club, serving as a teaching assistant, and volunteering as a dental assistant in federally qualified health centers. Dr. Bischoff holds the values of a true Midwesterner and treats every patient like she would her own family.

After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Bischoff attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She has been involved in many community service events including AZ Mission of Mercy, an international dental trip to Samoa, and various Midwestern University events for underserved populations. Dr. Bischoff graduated from Midwestern University where she earned the MWU Arizona Academy of General Dentistry Award and Practice Management Award for her outstanding management of her family of patients.

She is also a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society and holds memberships with the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time she enjoys adventuring with her dogs, refining her crafting skills, and reading up on current dental topics.
